Job Summary
A registered professional nurse who is capable of diagnosing and treating human responses to actual or potential problems, healthcare finding, health teaching, health counseling, provision of care supportive to restorative life, well-being, and executing medical regimens by a legally authorized physician. This position establishes, implements, and evaluates goals and objectives for home health service clients, that meet and promote the standards of quality and contribute to the total organization and philosophy of Gentle Embrace Home Health Services, LLC (Gentle Embrace).
Qualifications
Education
- Have a high school diploma or a GED
- Must be able to read, write, and comprehend English.
- Completed two years of full-time study at an accredited college or university in a health-related field
- Registered nurse with current licensure to practice professional nursing in the state of Texas
- BLS certified
- Must successfully complete orientation examinations and competencies
Experience
- At least one year of full time nursing experience.
- Preferred: medical-surgical nursing
Professional Credentials
- Copy of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license, not suspended or revoked
- Proof of graduation from an accredited school (diploma or transcript); and proof of recent relevant experience.
